BASW ADMISSIONS FALL 2013
Application Information
Please note: The BASW Program application procedure involves the submission of a two part application process:
- FIRST- SFSU Apply online through the CSU Mentor (Undergraduate Studies)
- SECOND- Apply to the BASW Program*
*Upon completion and submission of the CSU Mentor application, the applicant should complete the School of Social Work Bachelor's (BASW) application (located in Admissions section on side menu). Please read and follow specific instructions provided by the SFSU CSU Mentor (Undergraduate) and School of Social Work. Incomplete or late applications and supporting documents will not be accepted.
Application to SFSU Admissions through CSU Mentor begins – Monday, October 1, 2012. For detailed information please go to SFSU website, http://www.csumentor.edu (Apply Online tab)
CSU Mentor Undergraduate Admissions ends – Friday, November 30, 2012. Upon completion of the applicant's CSU Mentor online application, the undergraduate applicant will be sent an e–mail and provided a link to the School of Social Work's Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) application.
Deadline to submit a completed BASW Application and supplemental supporting documents – Monday, January 7, 2013, postmarked by 11:59PM. A complete packet includes: BASW Application, one Letter of Reference, a brief resume, copy of unofficial transcripts for the School, proof of having completed prerequisites in Human Biology, Macroeconomics, Psychology and Sociology, and Second Year Written English Composition. Prerequisites must be completed prior to entering the BASW program. Hand delivered packets to the School must be received before 4:00 pm on Monday, January 7, 2013.
