Christina Feliciana, MSW, PPSC, graduated from UC Berkeley with an MSW and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC). She has served as a child welfare worker in Alameda and San Francisco counties. She later coordinated the Foster Youth Services Program in Mt.Diablo Unified School District and supported students as a school social worker. She won the National Heart of Social Work Award from the Council of Social Work Education in 2006 for excellence in Field Instruction. Christina earned an administrative credential from Cal State East Bay.
Since 2002, Christina has worked as a field seminar instructor and liaison for School Social Work students at San Francisco State University. She assumed the role of PPSC Coordinator in 2006, and has expanded the credential program to include post-graduate candidates. She currently teaches SW 865- Social Work in Public School Settings, and SW 843- Child Welfare Practice.
Christina joined the faculty at UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare in Fall 2007 as a part-time field consultant. She also teaches Social Work Practice in School Settings, 250T, Foundations of Social Work Practice, 241, and Direct Practice in Child and Family Settings, 243.
