Michelle Benjamin Scholarship Fund
2009-2010 William Randolph Hearst/CSU Trustees' Award for Outstanding Achievement
This fellowship is for CSU undergraduate and graduate students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The award recognizes students who have overcome adversity, demonstrate financial need, and have attributes of merit including superior academic performance, exemplary community service, and significant personal achievements. The SF State scholarship committee will nominate one student to represent SF State to go onto the CSU level (23 campuses) of the competition.
For the 2009-2010 academic year, the CSU will award one $10,000 scholarship to the highest ranked student in the review process by the CSU Foundation, and one $6000 scholarship to the student who is judged by the selection committee as the student who has given the most to her/his community or university. There may be an additional 21 $3000 scholarships.
Documentation must be submitted by April 17, 2009.
