As a graduate of the SF State School of Social Work, you are our most important asset and our greatest strength. We are committed to building lifelong relationships with our alumni who serve the community in San Francisco and beyond in more ways than we can count.

2017 and 2018 are set to be big years for the School of Social Work. In 2016, our new director, Susanna Jones, joined the team. Under her leadership we are currently preparing for reaccreditation from the Council on Social Work Education for both the BASW and MSW programs as well as planning to embark on an MSW curriculum redesign.

Additionally, in 2018, the SF State School of Social Work is celebrating its 50th anniversary! This event will take place next spring and will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with faculty, visit with classmates and other alumni, and hear about all the great work and innovation happening at the School of Social Work. Check back for more details and information.
