The School of Social Work Development Fund provides supportive funding for faculty, staff, and students, including emergency funding for students in dire need of financial support.

During this semester, my work and personal life were taking drastic changes in general and I experienced some challenges which were limiting my attendance at school. I found myself at a point where I was struggling financially and my biggest concern was not attending school and graduating on time. This was a hard time for me, but I reached out to School of Social Work to express my concerns and ask for help. They got back to me right away and helped me fill out the form needed to gain financial assistance. The funding from School of Social Work helped me personally and my education. I was able to return to school and have reliable transportation. I am so grateful for the funding because I did not feel judged and got the help I needed with one of my biggest challenges yet. I am currently on track for graduation and could not be happier!
