Biography

Lucy Fuentes holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of San Francisco (USF), a master's in social work and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from San Francisco State University (SFSU). With a career dedicated to child welfare and social work education, Lucy has served as a child welfare worker, supervisor, Title IV-E Project Coordinator, Program Director, and university instructor, teaching courses in social work practice, fieldwork, and research. As a first-generation Latina, Lucy is deeply committed to expanding educational access and building partnerships that support student achievement and professional growth.
